Fraxel®
Fraxel DUAL 1550/1927 laser treatment targets aging and sun-damaged skin with microscopic laser columns that penetrate deep into your skin to expedite your body’s remodeling of collagen. And since the laser treats only a fraction of tissue at a time, it leaves the surrounding tissue intact, which promotes very rapid healing. Fraxel DUAL 1550/1927 treatment resurfaces your skin by stimulating the growth of new, healthy skin cells from the inside out.
Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher, avoid direct sun exposure for at least 3 months after your last treatment, and wear a wide-brimmed hat when you’re in the sun.
It depends on your particular condition and how you care for your skin. Once your skin is treated, continue to protect it as described above. Your physician will give you specific advice based on your individual needs.
Most patients describe an increased sensation of heat during the treatment. To minimize discomfort, topical anesthesia is applied before the procedure and cold air is used on the treatment area during the procedure. After the treatment, most patients feel like they have a sunburn, which usually diminishes in 1 to 3 hours.
Clinical studies suggest that on average, an effective treatment regimen is 3 to 5 sessions spaced about 2 to 4 weeks apart. Depending on your condition and schedule, you and the physician may choose to space treatment sessions further apart. Results are immediate and progressive, with optimal improvement usually visible in 2 to 3 months. This time frame and treatment structure allow for healing and the production of new collagen to replace damaged tissue.
First, your skin will be cleansed. Then, about 60 minutes prior to treatment, a topical anesthetic ointment will be applied to the treatment area. The Fraxel DUAL 1550/1927 procedure takes 20 to 25 minutes for a full face.

BBL HEROic is the most advanced pulsed light technology available today.
While BBL HEROic shares the same core technology with its predecessors—BBL® and BBL® HERO™—HEROic introduces revolutionary technological advancements, including Intelligent Control™ (IC™) software and the Skin Positioning System™ (SPS™). These innovations facilitate faster, more effective treatments, enhanced patient comfort, and exceptional results for every patient.
During a BBL HEROic treatment, a clear gel is applied over the treatment areas to help your skin absorb light energy. As the treatment begins, you should feel minimal to no discomfort as your provider gently glides the handpiece over the skin.
Pulsed light improves your skin in two ways. Initially, it targets highly vascular and pigmented areas like visible blood vessels or sunspots, breaking them down for absorption by the body. Additionally, the generated heat acts within the collagen-rich areas, triggering the body’s healing response and resulting in a reduction of fine lines and wrinkles and a more youthful appearance.
A treatment with BBL HEROic is generally well-tolerated by most patients. It is commonly described as feeling like a quick snap on the skin, with the sensation fading swiftly as the handheld device pulses over the skin. Thanks to BBL HEROic’s CoolComfort™ technology, which cools the epidermis during the procedure, topical anesthesia is not necessary. After the treatment, it is normal for the skin to feel warm for about 30 to 60 minutes.
There is minimal to no downtime following treatment with BBL HEROic. Patients can typically resume normal activities immediately.
Key points to remember, include:
- Skin sensitivity: Your skin may feel sensitive, like a mild sunburn, but this typically subsides within 24 hours.
- Healing process: You might notice temporary darkening of pigmented areas, along with some redness and swelling. These are part of the natural healing process where damaged cells are replaced by new ones, repairing your skin.
- Post-treatment care: Follow your provider’s advice, avoid direct sun exposure, and wear broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen to protect the skin, especially during the first 72 hours post-treatment. Depending on the skin’s pre-existing condition, mild discomfort, dryness, or minor crusting may occur.
- Skincare and makeup: You can typically resume using skincare products within 1-2 days post-treatment, along with makeup.
BBL HEROic can be performed anywhere on the face or body.
A week or two after a BBL HEROic treatment, your skin will appear more even, youthful, glowing, and smooth. Visible results can be seen in just 1 to 2 treatments, while optimal results are generally seen after completing a series of treatments spaced a few weeks to one month apart. Your skin will continue to improve in the weeks and months following your BBL HEROic sessions.
Your provider will work with you to create a customized treatment plan that addresses your specific skin revitalization needs.
Typically, a series of six treatments, spaced approximately two to four weeks apart, is recommended. Once you have reached your goals, scheduled maintenance treatments will help keep your skin healthy and glowing.
A BBL HEROic treatment typically takes 30 minutes, depending on the size and areas being treated.
BBL HEROic is easily combined with other modalities for enhanced results and less downtime. It may be combined with other minimally invasive procedures, such as injectable fillers or neurotoxin. During your consultation, your provider will create a plan to address your skin’s unique needs.

With HEROic, skin types I-V (using the Fitzpatrick scale) can be treated.
Laser Genesis
Treatment times vary from client to client, but a typical appointment lasts about 30 minutes.
You can return to normal activities immediately after your treatment. We encourage you to continue protecting your skin from the sun after your treatments.
Each client is different and your treatment plan will be determined and modified throughout your treatment schedule. We recommend a minimum of four treatments, spaced 2-4 weeks apart.
Pico Genesis
A series of 2-3 Pico Genesis treatments are required to achieve optimal results. Ongoing maintenance treatments are encouraged to sustain results. Skin protection, when exposed to the sun, is highly encouraged on an ongoing basis.
You can treat hands, face, and other areas of the body with noticeable sun damage and excess pigmentation. individual needs.
With Pico Spot Treatments, you will feel the tip of the laser device touch your skin. As the laser energy is applied, you will feel a sensation that patients often describe as an “electric rain” sensation. Most patients do not find the treatment uncomfortable. Immediately after the treatment, you may apply cold air or an ice pack for a short time. You should keep the treated area out of the sun and/or apply sunscreen for protection.
Although you may experience mild redness and swelling for a few hours following treatment, you can expect to return to regular activities following the treatment. Over the course of a few days, the treated sun spots and freckles will become darker and flake off as they heal, revealing a new, even complexion.

We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks between each Pico Genesis spot treatment and 4 weeks between each Pico Genesis global treatment. A spot treatment targets a specific sun spot/age spot, while a global treatment targets a larger surface area, such as the full-face or entire arm, etc.

Laser Hair Removal
#1 rule: One MUST HAVE brown or black hair color to be a candidate for laser hair removal treatments. Blonde, Red, White, or Gray hair cannot be treated.
#2 rule: Please SHAVE prior to your appointment!!!
Do:
- SHAVE treatment area 24-48 hours prior to your appointment. The laser targets the pigment in the hair follicle. Long hair will confuse the laser on what pigment to target and will increase your risk for burns.
- Protect your skin every day with SPF and keep the treated area out of the sun 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after your treatment.
- Take ibuprofen and an antihistamine as needed post-treatment.
- Use cool compress post-treatment as needed.
Don’t:
- Don’t wax prior to your laser treatment. Hair follicles must be present for laser the treatment to work
- Do not pluck, pull, or wax during your series—this will stimulate new hair growth. Hide your tweezers!!
- Do not use self-tanner or tanning beds at least 2 weeks prior to your laser treatment.
- No heat/exercise for 48-72 hours post-treatment.
- Stop your Tretinoin 2 weeks prior to treatment on the face.
Following the treatment, we recommend you avoid the gym, sauna, steam room, or hot tub for 48-72 hours. After 48-72 hours you can return to your normal activities! Some redness may occur following treatment. Sunscreen is recommended on any treated areas exposed to the sun. In addition, your physician may recommend that you use a specially formulated skin care product line or prescribe a skin care regimen especially formulated for your skin type.
While traditional methods of hair removal are still the go-to methods for many, these methods are all temporary and must be repeated on a frequent basis… forever! Laser hair removal is a quick and efficient solution to rid yourself of unwanted hair.
Although patients experience few side effects, the most commonly noticed are slight reddening and local swelling of the skin, similar to a sunburn. These effects typically fade after a few hours.
Shaving, waxing, and depilatory creams are all temporary methods that must be repeated on a frequent basis. Treatment with laser systems provides permanent hair reduction for lasting results.
Electrolysis is a tedious, invasive, and painful process that involves inserting a needle into each individual hair follicle and delivering an electrical charge to them one at a time. Electrolysis often requires years of treatments at regular intervals. By delivering light energy to hundreds of hair follicles at a time, the laser systems offered at Revive effectively treat an area in just seconds that would take over an hour with electrolysis.
After receiving laser hair removal on your underarms or face, we recommend waiting 4-6 weeks between treatments. After undergoing laser hair removal on any other area of the body, we recommend waiting 6-8 weeks between treatments.
Tattoo Removal
Most patients experience redness and swelling immediately following the treatment. These side effects are temporary.
Patients compare the procedure to a rubber band being snapped against their skin. Revive utilizes the Zimmer Cryotherapy Chiller to ensure great results in a reasonable amount of time, with minimized discomfort. The Zimmer Cryo delivers cold air as low as -30°C. The device is intended to minimize pain and thermal injury by providing topical anesthetic relief during laser treatments. Unlike other cooling methods, such as contact cooling, cryogen spray, or ice packs, Zimmer Cryo can cool the epidermis before, during, and after the laser energy has been applied, without interfering with the laser beam.
Tattoo ink is deposited deep in the skin. In order to reach all of the ink in the skin, multiple treatment sessions are needed for clearance. Depth, age, size, and color of the tattoo also impact the number of treatments needed.
In many cases, yes. However, it is very important to know that some ink colors are more difficult to clear than others. Consult with your provider to determine if the Cutera Enlighten tattoo removal laser is right for you.
Patients can return to regular activities immediately following the treatment.
Vein Therapy
Some patient’s experience a slight reddening and local swelling of the skin. These side effects typically disappear after 24 hours.
Most patients find that the majority of treated veins have shown significant signs of improvement within two to six weeks. However, your final results may not be apparent for several months.
Often, patients find that one or two treatments are sufficient. However, the number of treatments necessary depends on the number, color and size of the vessels being treated.
Most patients experience a stinging sensation as the pulses of energy are delivered through the laser.
HydraFacial

Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.
Microdermabrasion
Treatments take 15-30 minutes depending on the areas being treated.
Because microdermabrasion only works on the surface layers of the skin, it should not be uncomfortable in any way, and most patients feel it is quite a relaxing treatment.
Results from your microdermabrasion series of treatments can last for six to twelve months but may last longer depending on how well you take care of your skin after the treatment and if you minimize sun damage.
Yes. There will be some redness due to the combination of the two treatments.
There is some minor discomfort, but it is tolerable for most clients.
Chemical Peels
Every chemical peel is different. Ask a Revive team member about specific healing times for your skin type.
You may experience a light tingling, tightness, or change in temperature during your procedure. It is important to follow the post-peel instructions to ensure that you do not irritate your freshly resurfaced skin.
Chemical peeling is a procedure that aims to accelerate skin exfoliation by the use of chemical substances resulting in renewed, healthier looking skin and more uniform complexion.
Since the new skin is more susceptible to sunburn, extra precautions should be taken to limit sun exposure for at least one week after the peel. It is imperative to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen product with an SPF of 30 or higher.
Dermaplaning
We recommend coming in every three-four weeks to maintain healthy results and continue to see improvement.
Treatments can be as short as 30 minutes or can be part of a 60-75 minute facial treatment. Your aesthetician will determine a custom combination of products to help you maximize results.
Results are immediate!
Microneedling
Most patients see results after the first treatment. Individual results vary depending on individual skin health. It is most common to begin to see true changes or positive results as soon as 1-2 weeks after the first treatment.
It is normal for the skin to peel after microneedling treatments as a new layer of skin is produced and the old skin begins peeling off. The peeling will be minimal, similar to a mild sunburn.
There is some discomfort associated with microneedling, but a topical numbing cream can be applied prior to the procedure to minimize discomfort.
- Clients will undergo a blood draw. The blood draw allows the provider to then extract the platelet-rich plasma from the client’s own blood using a centrifuge.
- A topical numbing cream will be applied to the designated treatment area.
- Once the PRP has been extracted and enough PRP has been harvested, it is then applied throughout the microneedling treatment.
Lash + Brow Tint
If you’d like a break from your morning makeup routine or if you’re looking for fuller lashes and brows, tinting is for you! It’s also great for those with lighter eyebrows/lashes who are looking to create a more dramatic look.
Waxing
There is some discomfort associated with waxing. Our experts are trained to complete your waxing procedure with minimal discomfort.
Depending on your hair type, waxing results usually last 4-6 weeks. Hair tends to thin out with repeated waxing.
