Microdermabrasion is a form of exfoliation designed to remove dead skin cells, aid in new cellular growth, and give the skin a healthy, smooth, vibrant appearance. There are several types of microdermabrasion treatments: Crystal and Diamond. Crystal Microdermabrasion delivers a controlled stream of microcrystals over the skin through a special handpiece. Diamond Microdermabrasion uses an abrasive surface of a diamond-tipped wand to gently sand away the thick outer layer of the skin. This exfoliates and lightly polishes the skin while removing dead skin cells, oils, and other buildup. It is possible to improve many skin conditions and imperfections that lead to premature aging.

Microderm Facial:
Combine the best worlds: microdermabrasion and the Revive Signature Facial! Microdermabrasion delivers a gentle exfoliation of the skin through the diamond-tipped handpiece. By gently polishing the skin and removing dead skin cells, oils, and other buildup, Microderm improves skin conditions and imperfections that lead to premature aging. The Revive Signature Facial includes cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, and a customized mask, and finishes with a relaxing face, neck, shoulder, and arm/hand massage.
Microderm + Laser Genesis:
The combination of these treatments works great on oily, acne-prone skin, and for those clients who do not exfoliate enough. Microdermabrasion will help to exfoliate away years of dead skin cells, while Laser Genesis will shrink the pores, and replenish the skin cells.

This dual exfoliation treatment combines the Diamond-Tip microdermabrasion with a lactic or glycolic peel, or enzyme, applied directly after. Treatments take 15-30 minutes depending on the areas being treated.
Because microdermabrasion only works on the surface layers of the skin, it should not be uncomfortable in any way, and most patients feel it is quite a relaxing treatment.
Results from your microdermabrasion series of treatments can last for six to twelve months, but may last longer depending on how well you take care of your skin after the treatment and if you minimize sun damage.
Yes. There will be some redness due to the combination of the two treatments.
There is some minor discomfort, but it is tolerable for most clients.
